Enrollment and Tuition

All children at Mingo Creek Academy are expected to be potty trained. This policy is in place  because  the classrooms are operated  in  true  preschool classroom settings. The PreK classrooms are not equipped  with a   diaper changing table/station or diapering supplies. (There are strict Department of Social Services standards that apply to changing and disposing of soiled diapers.)

Students ages 3, 4, and 5 in every area of Georgetown and Williamsburg counties are invited to apply. MCA welcomes any race, religion, color, national and ethnic origin, and does not discriminate in policies, scholarship or programs. 

Tuition: $540/month   $5,400/year         

Extended day $200.00/month   $1,800.00/year

Thanks to the generosity of donors, individuals, corporations, and foundations, Mingo Creek Academy is pleased to offer generous tuition assistance to help families with demonstrated financial need to afford an MCA education.

Our 4K program is partnered with First Steps 4K, which provides free tuition for those who qualify. Families can check their eligibility

In addition, accept SC Childcare Scholarship through DSS which provides free tuition for those who qualify. Families can check their eligibility and apply at https://benefitsportal.dss.sc.gov/#/login

Determination of need is made on a case-by-case evaluation for tuition assistance. Once an award is made, families can typically count on a similar award in future years, provided there is no change in financial circumstances. MCA’s commitment to providing an excellent education to all students includes financial assistance awards covering 100% of demonstrated needs.

The admissions process is separate and administered independently of the tuition assistance award process. However, a student must be accepted for admission to be eligible to receive a tuition assistance award.
